James Scott (born August 30, 2000 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Hull City .

Career

James Scott joined Motherwell FC in 2013 . After five years in youth, he made his professional debut in the Scottish Premiership against Ross County on April 21, 2018 when he came on for Curtis Main . Another use followed a week later against Dundee FC after he had been substituted in the 41st minute for Ryan Bowman .

In January 2020, the 19-year-old moved to the English second division club Hull City .
