Martin Samuelsen (born April 17, 1997 in Haugesund ) is a Norwegian football player .
Career
societies
Samuelsen left his native Norway in 2012 and moved to the Manchester City Youth Academy . After three years he was given to the first division side West Ham United , where he signed a two-year contract. Samuelsen played his first professional game for West Ham when he played in the Europa League qualifier against Birkirkara FC on June 25, 2015 . In the first half of the season Samuelsen was used exclusively in the U-21 team of West Ham. He was then awarded to third division club Peterborough United in November . By the end of the season Samuelsen came for Peterborough on 17 appearances in the league, in which he scored one goal. After the season he returned to West Ham United.
National team
Samuelsen has played in various youth national teams since he was under 16 before he played for the Norwegian men's team for the first time in a friendly against Iceland on June 1, 2016 .
