Sean McLoughlin (real. Seán McLoughlin ; born November 13, 1996 in Cork ) is an Irish football player who is under contract with Hull City .

Career

Sean McLoughlin began his career in Ireland with the Springfield Ramblers. From 2013 he played for two years in the youth teams of Cork City . He then worked for the University College Cork soccer team . He returned to Cork City in 2017. In the 2017 season he was used once in a league game for the club's first team. At the end of the season, the club were Irish champions for the third time . In the two following seasons, the young McLoughlin was increasingly used in the position of central defender. In the 2018 season a total of 27 times and in the subsequent first half of the 2019 season 20 times.

In July 2019, Sean McLoughlin moved to the English second division club Hull City , who shortly thereafter loaned him to FC St. Mirren in Scotland for half a year . He returned to Hull City in January 2020.
