James Vincent Murphy

James Vincent Murphy (born July 7, 1880 in Innishannon near Cork, Ireland, † July 5, 1946 in Bishop's Stortford , England) was an Irish translator, writer and journalist who published one of the first complete translations of Mein Kampf into English in 1939 .

Life

Murphy attended St. Patrick's College in Maynooth and was ordained a priest in St. Patrick's College Chapel in 1905 , but withdrew from clerical service.

Before the Second World War he lived in Italy and Germany for some time.
