life and work

Jami Attenberg grew up in Buffalo Grove / Illinois and studied literature at Johns Hopkins University . In 2006 a selection of short stories was published under the title Instant Love . In the years that followed, Attenberg's first two novels, The Kept Man and The Melting Season , were published. Her literary breakthrough the author in 2012. Her third novel The Middle Stone became a New York Times - bestselling and was among the ten best-selling books on Amazon listed in 2012.
