Jamshed Gustadji Kharas
Jamshed Gustadji Kharas (born July 28, 1919 in Karachi , British India , † December 2, 2016 ) was a Pakistani diplomat .
Life
Jamshed Gustadji Kharas was employed by the Pakistani government from 1962 to 1963. From July 1963 to March 1967 he was ambassador to Madrid. At times at the same time he was ambassador to the Holy See from 1966 to 1967 . From March 1967 to 1970 he was ambassador to Belgrade .
From 1970 to 1972 he was ambassador in Bonn . At the Olympic Games in Munich , the German hockey team defeated the Pakistani team. The Pakistani team hit Walter Wülfing with a door, for which Kharas apologized to Wülfing. From 1972 to 1976 he was ambassador to The Hague and was also accredited to the government in Copenhagen . From July 1975 until he was ambassador to Rome and at the same time accredited to Tirana.
