Sajjad Hyder

Sajjad Hyder (born July 17, 1920 ) is a former Pakistani diplomat .

Life

Sajjad Hyder joined the Pakistan Foreign Service on September 1, 1947 . He was Deputy High Commissioner in New Delhi in 1957 and Deputy High Commissioner in London in 1959 . From October 1961 to August 1965 he was ambassador to Baghdad . From August 1965 to December 1968 he was ambassador to Cairo .

Sajjad Hyder was after the Second Indo-Pakistani War from July 2, 1968 until the Third Indo-Pakistani War in December 1971, High Commissioner in New Delhi . From 1973 to 1974 he was ambassador in Bonn .

From 1975 to 1977 he was ambassador to Moscow . From 1979 to 1980 he was ambassador to The Hague .
