Jan-Ulf Söderberg (born February 20, 1959 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish squash player .

Career

Jan-Ulf Söderberg was active as a squash player in the 1980s and reached 14th place in the world rankings in August 1985. With the Swedish national team he took part in the World Cup in 1983 , 1985 and 1987 . At European Championships he was with the national team in 1983 against England European champion. Between 1982 and 1987 he was with Sweden five more times in the finals, each against England. Between 1983 and 1988 Söderberg was four times in the main field of the individual world championships. In 1986 he reached the quarterfinals, in which he was defeated by Jahangir Khan , his best result. In 1983 and 1984 he was Swedish national champion .
