Career

Together with his teammates Eike Mund and Tobias Bauer , Hawel moved to the U19 of TuS Koblenz in 2005. In 2006 he was appointed to the squad of the 2nd team and became a regular in the storm. In preparation for the 2008/09 season he was appointed to the first team by coach Uwe Rapolder and Hawel completed his first minutes as a professional on matchday 30 in a 2-0 defeat against Mainz 05 . After relegation to the 3rd division, Hawel became an integral part of the rotation in the 2010/11 season and made 22 appearances in the 3rd division.
