Career

Tobias Bauer came to TuS Koblenz at a young age , where he played in his youth. At the club from the Koblenz district of Neuendorf , he was pulled up to the second team at the beginning of the 2007/08 season, before joining the first team in 2010 under the direction of Petrik Sander , who preferred to focus on young talent. He made his debut for Koblenz in the third division 2010/11 against Kickers Offenbach on matchday 10 when he was substituted on in the 87th minute. For other missions, he came mostly as a substitute. He scored his first goal in the 4-0 home win against 1. FC Heidenheim when he overcame goalkeeper Erol Sabanov in the 70th minute . In the 2011 Rhineland Cup, Bauer scored the 1-0 winner in the semifinals against SpVgg EGC Wirges , and in the final they lost 2-0 to Eintracht Trier . For the 2012/13 season, Bauer did not receive a new contract in Koblenz. In June 2012, VfB Oldenburg announced that Bauer had signed up for the 2012/2013 regional league season. In January 2013, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement. Bauer then moved back to Rhineland-Palatinate and joined the upper division SV Roßbach / Verscheid . In July 2014 he moved to the upper division FSV Salmrohr , with whom he won the Rhineland Cup. In July 2015, Bauer moved to the Rhineland League (6th division) for SG Mendig / Bell. In the summer of 2016, Bauer ended his career because of persistent foot problems.

Since the 2017/18 season, Bauer has been assistant coach of the U-17 Bundesliga team at VfL Wolfsburg .
