Jan Nowicki
Jan Nowicki (born November 5, 1939 in Kowal near Włocławek ) is a Polish actor .
Nowicki received an acting training from 1958 to 1960 at the Łódź Film School , but later moved to the PWST State Drama School in Kraków , where he graduated in 1964. He has been a member of the Teatr Stary in Kraków since 1965 and is also a lecturer at his former drama school in Kraków. He made his film debut in 1965 in Andrzej Wajda's classic film Legionaries ( Popioły ). Jan Nowicki is in a relationship with the Hungarian director Márta Mészáros and has regularly appeared in her films since the mid-1970s. The couple have two children together.
