Jan Wayne

Jan Wayne (* 11. January 1974 in Husum , bourgeois January Christiansen ) is a German Hands-up and Euro Dance - DJ and music producer . With his remixes of well-known hits between 2002 and 2004, he had success mainly in Germany and Austria . Two songs were placed in the charts of the UK .

Career

Wayne became known with the Bonnie Tyler cover Total Eclipse of the Heart and then had his greatest hit with Because the Night, composed by Bruce Springsteen and best known for the 1979 version by Patti Smith . He was in the charts in various European countries, including number four in Germany, where he stayed in the top 10 for seven weeks, which earned him 34th place in the 2002 annual charts .

In 2006, the single Piece of My Heart was well received, but was no comparison to the previous success of Jan Wayne. With the 2007 single I Touch Myself, with former singer Scarlet of the group Rednex , Jan Wayne celebrated a comeback.
