Jana Klimešová

Jana Klimešová (born Švejdová ; born December 31, 1970 ) is a Czech long-distance runner .

In 1996, 1997 and 2001 she became national champion in cross-country running , in 2001 over 5000 m , 1998 over 10,000 m , 1997 in 10 km road run and 1999, 2002 and 2005 in half marathon .

In 1999 and 2000 she won the Prague Half Marathon . In 2000 she was second in the Austin Half Marathon, fifth in the Austin Marathon and finished 34th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Veracruz .

They finished third at the Prague Half Marathon and the fourth overall of the 2002 Prague Marathon Czech champion in marathon . In 2004 she finished eighth in the Prague Half Marathon, third in 2005, and fifth in 2006 and 2008. In 2006 she came in eleventh place in the Würzburg Residence Run.

Jana Klimešová is married to the former long-distance runner Petr Klimeš .
