Jane Goldman
Jane Loretta Anne Goldman (born June 11, 1970 in Hammersmith , London ) is a British writer , television presenter and producer and one of the most successful British screenwriters .
Life
Goldman was born in Hammersmith , a borough of London . At the age of 18 she married the television presenter Jonathan Ross . They have three children (1991, 1994, 1997).
Having written several books, including the critically acclaimed thriller Dream World and the nonfiction work The X-Files Book of the Unexplained , that deals with the television series The X-Files apart sets, it was in 2001 for the British sitcom Baddiel's Syndrome first worked as a screenwriter . Between 2003 and 2004 she hosted her own mystery series, Jane Goldman Investigates . Since 2004 she has been the producer of the annual game show The Big Fat Quiz of the Year . In 2007 she wrote the screenplay for Der Sternwanderer with Matthew Vaughn . She then became his permanent co-screenwriter and, together with Vaughn, wrote the scripts for the films of the Marv Films productions: Kick-Ass , X-Men: First Decision and An Open Account . Jane also co-produced the film Kick-Ass , and Goldman wrote the base story for the film An Open Account . For the horror film The Woman in Black , which is based on a novel Susan Hills , Jane Goldman wrote the screenplay for the first time alone.

Awards
In 2008 Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaugn won a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation with Der Sternwanderer . For the 2010 film Kick-Ass , Goldman and Vaughn were nominated for the British Independent Film Award and the Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Screenplay . They won the Writers' Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Original Screenplay .
