Jane Relf
Jane Relf (born March 7, 1947 in Richmond , London ) is a British singer who was particularly successful in the 1970s.
Life
Relf was born in Richmond, a borough of London . She is the younger sister of the Yardbirds singer Keith Relf . When the Yardbirds broke up, Keith Relf formed the progressive rock band Renaissance and Jane accompanied him as a singer. After his death in 1976, the remaining band members reformed under the name Illusion , again with Jane as the singer. After two albums, the band broke up, Jane sang on some of Jim McCarty's projects , including Stairway and Renaissance Illusion.
In 1971 she released a solo single with the songs Without a Song From You and Make My Time Pass By . For the company Findus Frozen Food , she recorded the promotional single The Fishermen .
