Jim McCarty
Jim McCarty (born July 25, 1943 in Walton , Liverpool ; full name James Stanley McCarty ) is a British musician. He became known as a drummer for The Yardbirds and Renaissance . He was also a member of the bands Shoot, Illusion , Stairway, Box of Frogs and Pilgrim.

Most of McCarty's recordings were released under the names of the bands in which he was involved. However, there are various albums that have been released under his name or under The Jim McCarty Band.
