Jang Dae-hyun (* 1998 South Korea ) is a South Korean carom player.
Career
He played his first international tournament in his native Cheongju at the three-cushion World Cup in September, and came in 89th place with a field of 128 players. In 2018, Jang took part in a world championship for juniors for the first time. As group winner he came into the main round (quarter-finals). There he was able to prevail against the French Maxime Panama with 35:26. In the semifinals he met last year's winner Carlos Anguita from Spain, beat him 35:25 and now had to compete in the final against the 2016 junior world champion, Cho Myung-woo , also from South Korea. He was defeated by 18:35.
In September 2019 he was able to play his way from a field of 104nbsp # qualifiers into the main tournament of the Survival 3C Masters . In the qualifying round he met in Group A on Semih Saygıner , Nikos Polychronopoulos and Cho Myung-woo, whom he left behind in that order and was able to move into the quarter-finals. In group P he again won the group, tied ahead of the Spaniard Daniel Sánchez , followed by world number one and world champion Dick Jaspers from the Netherlands and Dion Nelin from Denmark. It is his first semi-finals entry in this highly endowed invitation tournament.
