Janina Sachau (born March 17, 1976 in Dortmund ) is a German actress .

Life

Janina Sachau already played as a pupil at the Dortmund children's and youth theater . After graduating from the Gartenstadt Comprehensive School in 1995, she trained as an actor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main . Theater engagements in Darmstadt, Freiburg, Düsseldorf and Essen followed . Sachau appears as a speaker in numerous radio plays.

Sachau also starred in feature films and television series. While still a student, she received the Max Ophüls Prize for Best Young Actress in 1999 for the lead role of Auguste Bußmann in Dagmar Knöpfel's film Requiem for a romantic woman .
