Jarret John "JJ" Thomas (born April 6, 1981 in Fairbanks , Alaska ) is a former American snowboarder .

Career

With a victory at the X Games in the Superpipe , Thomas qualified for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City . Thomas won the bronze medal in the halfpipe .

At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he acted as the coach of Shaun White , who won the gold medal in the halfpipe .
