Jason Morgan (2015)

Jason Morgan (born October 6, 1982 in Kingston ) is a Jamaican discus thrower .

At the 2006 Central America and Caribbean Games , he won silver. In 2007 he finished tenth at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and was eliminated from the qualification at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka .

In 2009 he won bronze at the Central American and Caribbean Athletics Championships and gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2010. In 2011 he won the Central American and Caribbean Championships, failed in the preliminary round at the World Cup in Daegu and finished seventh at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara .

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he did not get past the first round.

In 2014 he won bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and came third in the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech . At the 2015 World Cup , he was eliminated again in qualifying.

On June 6, 2015, he set the current Jamaican record in Pearl with 68.19 m.
