Jason Lee Ray (born May 16, 1978 ) is an American biathlete .

Jason Ray began his career as a cross-country skier . In 2002 he competed in several races of the Cross-Country Continental Cup in West Yellowstone . In biathlon, he contested his first international race in 2007 in Nové Město na Moravě as part of the European Cup . In the first sprint he finished 49th, was 37th in the pursuit and in the second sprint 55th. The following season in the Biathlon NorAm Cup was particularly successful . In Jericho , he finished second behind Marc-André Bédard in a pursuit race and thus achieved a podium finish for the first time. Two weeks later he came third in La Patrie behind Maxime Leboeuf and Jesse Downs as well as a week later in Valcartier behind Leboeuf and Zach Hall in a sprint. In the overall standings for the season, Ray finished fourth behind Jesse Downs, Hall and Sam Morse . The highlight of the season was the North American Championships in Itasca . Ray finished seventh in the sprint and eighth in the pursuit.
