Jastrzębsko Stare (German: Friedenhorst) is a village in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , in the powiat Nowotomyski , in the Nowy Tomyśl municipality . The place is 5 kilometers west of Nowy Tomyśl and 59 kilometers west of Poznan . Jastrzębsko Stare was founded at the beginning of the 18th century as a Hauland settlement . In 1905, 523 people lived in 86 houses; 502 were Protestant (all with German as their mother tongue), 20 were Catholic (9 with German and 11 with Polish as their mother tongue). 1 inhabitant was of the Jewish faith. The former Protestant village church, which was built in 1914 and is a listed building, is worth seeing.
