Jaucha is a district of the city of Hohenmölsen in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Geographical location
Jaucha is located south of the core area of Hohenmölsen. The 23.20 hectare large nature reserve " mining area Nordfeld Jaucha " with the number. NSG 0134 is again further south at an altitude from 180 to 198 m above sea level. NN and about 9 km north of Zeitz .
history
Jaucha was first mentioned in a document on May 17, 1522. On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality of Jaucha was incorporated into the city of Hohenmölsen.

- At Bergstrasse 24 there is a memorial plaque in memory of the communist community representative Max Kunath, who was a victim of Nazi justice in Amberg prison .
