Career

society

Hodgson played for Heanor Town and moved to Long Eaton United in September 2010. After a total of eleven games, he moved to Loughborough Dynamo in October of the same year and played at the same time for Clumber FC. In January 2011 he scored a so-called lightning hat trick within 19 minutes for Clumber in a game against Plow Barfly, Clumber won the game 7-1. In 25 games for Clumber, Hodgson scored 42 goals and seven goals in 15 appearances for Loughborough.

At the beginning of the 2011/12 season Hodgson played briefly for Boston United and then moved to Hinckley United in August 2011. Subsequently, he changed the club again within England's amateur leagues, currently he plays for the Australian club Williamstown SC.

National team

Although born in England, Hodgson was due to his origins (his grandparents are Montserrat) entitled to play for the national football team of Montserrat , in which he was appointed for the first time in 2011 and for which he decided. Hodgson said in 2014 on the English website fourfourtwo.com that he would have been eligible to play for Gibraltar because of his father, who was stationed in the Royal Air Force Gibraltar . Since Gibraltar was neither UEFA nor FIFA member at the time, he ultimately decided on Montserrat.

He made his debut on June 15, 2011 in a qualifier for the 2014 World Cup against Belize , which Montserrat lost 5-2. Montserrat's goals scored both Hodgson. He scored his third goal in a 3-1 away loss to Honduras . With four goals scored so far, Hodgson is the record scorer in Montserrat. If you include the friendlies that are not recognized by FIFA, Hodgson has already scored eight goals for Montserrat.
