Jean-Claude Ézechiel Jean-Baptiste Boulanger (born March 1, 1945 in Journy , Pas-de-Calais , France ) is a French clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Bayeux .

Life

Jean-Claude Boulanger was ordained a priest for the diocese of Arras on June 25, 1972 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Sées on October 16, 2001 . The bishop of Arras, Jean-Paul Jaeger , gave him episcopal ordination on December 2nd of the same year; Co - consecrators were Yves-Maria Guy Dubigeon , Bishop of Sées, and Henri Derouet , Bishop Emeritus of Arras. When Yves-Maria Dubigeon retired on April 25, 2002, he succeeded him in the office of Bishop of Sées.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Bayeux on March 12, 2010. On June 27, 2020, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
