Jean-Claude Fohrenbach (* 5. February 1925 in Paris ; † the 30th March 2009 ) was a French Jazz - Tenor Saxophonist of the swing , then of hard bop .

Live and act

Fohrenbach received violin and clarinet lessons and began to work as a professional musician in 1945. He played u. a. with Django Reinhardt ("Minor Blues", April 16, 1947, Blue Star Session ) and performed mainly in Paris, as with Bernard Zacharias et ses Solistes in 1954, but also in Germany and accompanied US musicians such as Jonah who were in France Jones . He released the album "Fohrenbach French Sound" under his own name.
