Jean-Marc Birkholz
Jean-Marc Birkholz (born January 7, 1974 in Berlin ) is a German actor .
life and career
Birkholz grew up in Berlin-Friedrichshain and made in 1999 graduated from the Berlin Fritz Kirchhoff - drama school "The Circle" . He then took on a theater engagement with the State Theaters of Saxony and has been working as a freelancer since 2007.
This is followed by work for TV and film, e.g. B. from 2005 to 2007 in Verliebt in Berlin (TV), 2010 in Connected by Time (cinema), 2012 in Spies must die (TV), 2017 in Sniper - Officer Smersh (TV) and 2018 in the Russian series Chernobyl (TV ) and most recently in the films Enemy Lines (2020, cinema) and Liberté (2020, cinema).
Birkholz is also active as a speaker and voice actor. He worked in various radio play productions and lent his voice to the character Carlos from the television series Princess Lillifee . Since 2017 he sings the part of Ritter Rost in the children's book and musical series of the same name by Jörg Hilbert and Felix Janosa .
He is also touring Germany with literary readings : from 2013 to 2019 he read together with Radost Bokel from Michael Ende's fairy tale novel Momo , and is currently doing a Winnetou reading, among other things.
On open-air stages , Birkholz is known for his portrayal of Karl May's novel character Winnetou , which he embodied on the Rathen rock stage from 2001 to 2006 and has played at the Karl May Festival in Elspe since 2012 .
Since 2018 he has been married to the Belarusian actress Valentina Gartsueva.
