Jean-Santos N'Diela Muntubila (born December 20, 1958 in Kinshasa ) is a former football player from the Democratic Republic of the Congo .
Career
Muntubila started his career at AS Bilima Kinshasa . In 1980 he moved to Europe, to the French club FC Sochaux . He spent 4 years at Sochaux, 1 of which was awarded to Olympique Marseille . At Sochaux, the French car manufacturer Peugeot was sponsor, which also supported 1. FC Saarbrücken . So Muntubila moved to Germany to the Saarland participant of the 2nd division . In his first season at Saarbrücken in the 1984/85 season , Muntubila managed third place in the final table under coach Uwe Klimaschefski . With the 3rd place, which could only be secured by the better goal difference compared to KSV Hessen Kassel , the relegation game against the 16th of the Bundesliga was achieved. In front of a home crowd, Saarbrücken beat Arminia Bielefeld 2-0 in the first leg . Muntubila was not used. In the second leg, however, he was on the field from the start, but was sent off with a red card in the 64th minute, the game ended 1: 1. Thus Muntubila played with the Saarlanders in the 1985/86 season in the Bundesliga. The class could not be held, the 17th place in the table at the end of the season means immediate relegation. Muntubila moved back to France, where he still played for SC Bastia , FC Valenciennes and ESA Brive .
After his career as a player, he coached the national soccer team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo several times .
