Jean-Yves André Michel Nahmias (born September 16, 1957 in Saint-Mandé ) is a French clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Meaux .

Life

The Archbishop of Paris , Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger , ordained him a priest on June 24, 1989 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 1, 2006 titular bishop of Termae Himerae and auxiliary bishop in Paris. The Archbishop of Paris, André Armand Vingt-Trois , donated him episcopal ordination on September 8 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Jean-Marie Cardinal Lustiger, Archbishop Emeritus of Paris, and Olivier de Berranger IdP , Bishop of Saint-Denis .

The Pope appointed him Bishop of Meaux on August 9, 2012.
