Jean Orchampt
Jean Pierre Marie Orchampt (born December 9, 1923 in Vesoul , Haute-Saône , France ) is Bishop Emeritus of Angers .
Life
Jean Pierre Marie Orchampt was ordained a priest on June 29, 1948 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 14, 1971 titular bishop of Aquae in Mauretania and auxiliary bishop in Montpellier . The Archbishop of Besançon , Marc-Armand Lallier , donated him episcopal ordination on September 18 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Curia Archbishop Bernardin Gantin and Cyprien Tourel , Bishop of Montpellier.
On July 5, 1974, he was appointed Bishop of Angers . On March 20, 2000, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation because of his age.
