Jean Schaaf (* in Cologne ; † 1914 ) was a German racing cyclist .

In 1892 Jean Schaaf became German champion over 1000 meters on the Niederrad at the Riehler Radrennbahn in Cologne . He was the first Cologne cyclist to win a German championship title. Three years later he won the bronze medal in the sprint over a mile at the track cycling world championships , which also took place on the track in Cologne.

In October 1918 the newspaper Rad-Welt stated that Schaaf had died in 1914; the exact circumstances are not known.
