The focus of the oil paintings is the port of Hamburg . Her motifs “Port of Hamburg” and “from above” attracted particular attention. The peculiarity of her partly very large oil paintings is that Jeannine Platz does not paint with a brush, but with her hands, with a spatula and toothbrush. "My summary of the creation of a perfect picture is: I am touched by what I see, I touch the colors and canvas with my hands and in the end the picture touches the viewer."

In addition, Platz works as a calligrapher and also provides her oil paintings with writing. Over a period of a good two years, she created the “Suite View” project, which she made known in art circles across the borders of Germany. The work includes 50 motifs from 31 countries. The first overall exhibition took place in May 2017 at The Westin Hamburg .
