Jeannot De Crousnaz

Jeannot De Crousnaz (born May 20, 1822 in Trey , † October 7, 1883 in Lausanne , entitled to live in Trey) was a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

biography

After training as a notary in Lausanne , he acquired the corresponding patent in 1847. He then worked as such in Trey from 1848 to 1863 and was a cantonal judge from 1863 to 1873.

At the beginning his political attitude was liberal , which changed too radically after 1866 . De Crousnaz was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Vaud from 1849 to 1851, from 1862 to 1863 and from 1874 to 1876 . In 1861 he was a member of the Constitutional Council before he sat on the Council of States in 1862 and 1863 . In 1876 he was elected to the State Council of the Canton of Vaud and was there until 1878 the military department, and then the building department.

De Crousnaz promoted the construction of the railway line in the Broyetal from Moudon to Payerne and managed the railway company until 1876. He was also a member of the bank council of the Waadtländer Hypothekarkasse from 1875 to 1876 and a member of the board of directors of the Union Vaudoise de Crédit from 1867 to 1869 and from 1880 until 1882.
