Jeff Katz

Jeffrey Katz (born May 20, 1943 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American music producer who, together with his partner Jerry Kasenetz, popularized the bubblegum , a cheerful variant of popular music , in the late 1960s .

Katz and Kasenetz ran the production company Super K Productions, which put together and supervised a number of bands, including Shadows of Knight , Kasenetz-Katz Singing Orchestral Circus , The Music Explosion , 1910 Fruitgum Company , Crazy Elephant and The Ohio Express .
