Jefferson Hall (actor)

Jefferson Hall (born December 6, 1977 in Coventry , West Midlands ) is a British actor .

Career

Jefferson Hall was born in the British city of Coventry and attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London . He has been since 2005 BC a. seen in British film and television productions. He played one of his most famous roles in 2011 in the first season of the hit series Game of Thrones as Ser Hugh .

Hall u. a. in The Bill , Doctors , Wizards vs Aliens or Silent Witness . From 2013 to 2015 Hall was part of the cast of the successful series Vikings in the role of Torstein . In 2017 he played the role of Thorne Geary in Taboo .

In addition to his television roles, Hall also repeatedly takes on smaller roles in films. For example, he played a guard in Sherlock Holmes in 2009 , a First Order officer in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 or Aaron Korey in Halloween in 2018 .
