Ekaterina Evgenevna Gaiduk ( Russian Екатерина Евгеньевна Гайдук , born Ekaterina Evgenevna Davydenko , Russian Екатерина Евгеньевна Давыденко * 7. March 1989 in Tolyatti ) is a Russian handball player .
Career
Gaiduk played in the 2005/06 season in the second team of the Russian club GK Lada Tolyatti . In the following season, the backcourt player was included in the squad of the first women's team. In 2008 she won the Russian championship with Lada. At European level, the left-hander was in the final of the EHF Champions League in 2007 and won the EHF Cup in 2012 and 2014 . In summer 2014 she signed a contract with the Romanian first division club HCM Baia Mare . A season later she joined the Russian first division club GK Rostov-on-Don . A year later she interrupted her career. After Gaiduk gave birth to a daughter, she signed a contract with GK Lada Tolyatti for the 2018/19 season.
Gaiduk is a member of the Russian national team . With Russia she took part in the Handball European Championship 2008 and Handball European Championship 2010 , where she won the bronze medal at the European Championship 2008. She also took part in the 2011 Handball World Cup . In summer 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London .
