Jelena Viktorovna Guljajewa ( Russian Елена Викторовна Гуляева , English transcription Yelena Viktorovna Gulyayeva, born Родина - Rodina ; born August 14, 1967 in Moscow ) is a former Russian high jumper .

In 1991, starting for the Soviet Union , she was sixth at the World Indoor Championships in Seville . In the same year she was found in a competition control of doping and banned for two years.

In 1993 she was fifth at the World Championships in Stuttgart , and in 1994 she was fifth at the European Indoor Championships in Paris and won silver at the European Championships in Helsinki . Fifth place at the 1995 World Indoor Championships in Barcelona was followed by fourth place at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta . In 1999 she was twelfth at the World Championships in Seville and in 2001 tenth at the World Championships in Edmonton .
