Jennifer Bianca Kandut (born October 22, 1991 in Wolfsberg , Carinthia ) is an Austrian rock singer with Swiss roots.

history

At the age of 13 Kandut played the first nights with her first band "The Roses". From 2007 to 2008 she performed with her second band, the rock band "JK & Band". Peter Müller was the producer of "JK & Band".

In 2008, Jennifer Kandut and her band Dreieck (2008–2012) signed their first record deal with Universal Music Austria / hitproof. The song Dangerous was placed in the Austria Top 40 for 19 weeks and made it to 11th place. The producer of Dreieck was Alexander Kahr . The second single As it should be and the debut album Dreieck also reached middle chart positions. This was followed by appearances at open airs, including the Donauinselfest in 2010 and 2011. As a result of internal differences and different plans for the future, the band separated in autumn 2012.

Then Jennifer Kandut began to work on her solo project JEN , with which she released the debut single Das Dreieck sticht at the end of August 2013 . Appearances in Austria followed, including as the opening act for Rainhard Fendrich .

Jennifer Kandut and Ruben Gludovacz have been WOLFSLAUT since 2015 . Their first debut single was called "In This Night" and was released in February 2016. The duo writes their songs themselves, and their lyrics tell specific stories about life. "In this night" was produced by Alexander Kahr . They performed at the Donauinselfest 2016, at “Dachboden Wien - 25 Hours Hotel” and at the Hafen Open Air .
