Jennifer Mulinde-Schmid

Jennifer Mulinde-Schmid (* 1982 in Mombasa , Kenya ) is a Swiss actress , singer and dancer .

As the daughter of a Kenyan father and a Ugandan mother, she grew up in the Bernese Oberland and Zurich . After graduating from high school and training in dance with a focus on breakdance, she went through individual acting training from 2003 onwards, supported by the Fritz Gerber Foundation for talented young people , including at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin .

As a child, she appeared on a children's program on Swiss television . Since 2001 she has acted in television and cinema films, and from 2004 also in several stage works . She became known to a wider audience as a cleaning lady in the television series Day and Night . She played a supporting role in the Swiss feature film The Registrar . She was nominated for the Swiss Film Award for Best Young Acting Talent 2010 . She lives in Berlin .
