Jenny Behrend (born January 20, 1996 in Rendsburg ) is a German handball player .

Career

Jenny Behrend played handball at HSG Hohn / Elsdorf from the age of five . In the C-youth the left-hander switched to TSV Owschlag . With the A-youth von Owschlag she ran in the A-Juniors Bundesliga and with the women's team in the 3rd division . In the summer of 2014, the right winger joined the Bundesliga club VfL Oldenburg . With Oldenburg, she won the DHB Cup in 2018 and was in the DHB Cup final in 2015.

Jenny Behrend ran for the German youth and junior national team. With these selection teams, she took part in the U-19 European Championship in 2015 and in the U-20 World Championship in 2016 . At the U-20 World Cup she finished 4th with Germany.

Behrend made her debut for the German national team on March 23, 2019 .
