Jens Charley Hultén (born December 6, 1963 in Stockholm , Sweden ) is a Swedish actor .

Life

Jens Hultén was born the son of a jazz musician. He grew up with his sister in Stockholm. After graduating from school, he began martial arts, so from 1983 he trained Kung Fu in the martial arts school founded by the Swedish actor and television presenter Thabo Motsieloa . At the age of 25 he founded his own martial arts school and began working as a bouncer on the side. After recovering from alcoholism, he began to be interested in acting in the mid-1990s. He applied to several drama schools and was rejected by all.

From the end of the 1990s, Hultén was finally seen several times in smaller roles in various television series. He made his screen debut in 1997 with his portrayal of Lasse in the drama Under ytan , directed by Daniel Fridell . Hultén was able to establish himself as an actor and, in addition to smaller roles in crime series such as Der Adler - Die Spur des Verbrechens and Verdict Revised - Innocent Condemned, became known for larger roles such as Seth Rydell in the internationally broadcast crime series GSI - Spezialeinheit Göteborg . After playing an unnamed supporting role in James Bond 007: Skyfall , he starred in the 2015 action film Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation alongside Tom Cruise .
