Jenson was a German rock band founded in Munich in 2005 . Jenson played rock influenced by Alternative .

history

After being founded in 2005, the four Munich-based guys released their first EP typically German? . The rehearsal room recordings were mastered by the later album producer Klaus Scheuermann. Almost 1000 CDs were sold in the first year. Then the self-made DVD was released typical tour? which shows the self-made material of the guys from the first year of the band. In 2006 Jenson were invited to a concert in New York and played in a live club in the middle of Broadway .

After signing the record deal in June 2007, the debut single Wir wird… was released on July 27, 2007 . The fact that Premiere / Sat.1 used the single as a teaser for the 2007 DFL League Cup also contributed to the band's popularity . The debut album Großstadtschmutz was released in April 2008.

At the end of 2009, the recording of the second album began. Together with the Blackmail guitarist and producer Kurt Ebelhäuser a new work was created that moved more in the direction of indie rock. The band split up at the end of 2010. In July and August 2012 the single Please buy me love was released as a digital release and the album Auf nie more Wiedersehen .

Members

  • Florian Pfisterer (* 1978) was a singer and guitarist for Jenson. He grew up in Isny im Allgäu and played in various bands at an early age. He is active as a songwriter and producer under the stage name FloP and has been a member of Da Rocka & da Waitler since 2012 .
  • Nils Klippe (* 1981) was guitarist and singer for Jenson. He grew up in Munich and played guitar in a ska band called Ill at ease before Jenson. Since 2011 he has been the front man of the electro-pop band Frank in Fahrt.
  • Manuel Weiss (* 1982) was a drummer for Jenson. He grew up in Munich and lived in Paris in his youth. In the meantime he works as a director and producer for various music videos with his own company Weiss Entertainment.
  • Stefan Blöckinger (* 1982) was the bass player for Jenson. He was born and raised in Munich. Stefan played in smaller Munich punk bands as a hobby and was the last to join Jenson.
