Jerwand Krbashyan ( Armenian Երվանդ Կրբաշյան , in FIFA transcription: Yervand Krbashyan ; born April 3, 1971 in Yerevan ) is an Armenian former football player and coach . He was used as a central defender and in defensive midfield .

Jerwand Krbaschjan graduated as a master of sports in 1989.

Career

Even as a junior, Jerwand Krbaschjan played for FK Ararat Yerevan in the highest Soviet league, the Wysschaja Liga . For the club he was used in both the first and the second team until 1991. With the second team, he became champions of the second group of the second Soviet zone in 1990. After moving to CSKA Moscow in 1993 , he also played there for the first and second team. After two years in Moscow, he returned to Yerevan. After a short time at Irtysh Omsk , he ended his professional career at Torpedo-Zil Moscow , for which he played in the Russian Supreme Division in 1999 and in the Russian Football Cup in the 1999/2000 season.

National team

At the Junior World Cup in 1991 (U-20) in Portugal, he played for the Soviet Union . The team reached third place, with Jerwand Krbaschjan playing over 90 minutes in all games of the Soviet Union at the Junior World Cup.

Playing for the Armenian national soccer team , he had his first appearance on October 14, 1992 against Moldova . In total, it was used 16 times for Armenia.
