Jesús Agustín López de Lama

Jesús Agustín López de Lama CP (born December 25, 1929 in Cedillo de la Torre , Spain) is the emeritus prelate of Corocoro .

Life

Jesús Agustín López de Lama joined the religious order of the Passionists and was ordained a priest on March 14, 1954 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 10, 1966 as prelate of Corocoro and titular bishop of Casae Calanae . The Apostolic Nuncio in Bolivia , Archbishop Carmine Rocco , donated him episcopal ordination on September 4th of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in La Paz , Jorge Manrique Hurtado and Gennaro Maria Prata Vuolo SDB .

On November 5, 1977, he renounced his titular bishop's seat due to the new allocation guidelines of the Roman Curia . He resigned from his office on September 5, 1991.
