Ubaldo Evaristo Cibrián Fernández CP (born December 22, 1906 in Villanueva de Odra , Spain, † April 14, 1965 ) was the prelate of Corocoro .

Life

Ubaldo Evaristo Cibrián Fernández joined the religious community of Passionists and was ordained a priest on September 21, 1929 .

Pope Pius XII appointed him on March 7, 1953 as the first prelate of the Territorial Prelature Corocoro, which had been established in December 1949, and titular bishop of Bida . The Apostolic Nuncio in Bolivia , Archbishop Sergio Pignedoli , donated him episcopal ordination on May 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of La Paz , Abel Isidoro Antezana y Rojas CMF , and Auxiliary Bishop Jorge Manrique Hurtado from La Paz.

He participated in the first three sessions of the Second Vatican Council as a council father.
