Toribio Ticona Porco

Toribio Cardinal Ticona Porco (born April 25, 1937 in Atocha ) is the emeritus prelate of Corocoro .

Life

Before Ticona Porco became a priest, he worked "in the mines of Potosi for the livelihood of his family." There he "got to know the tough everyday life in the southern Bolivian mining region."

Finally, Ticona Porco studied Catholic theology, including in Brussels.

Toribio Ticona Porco was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Potosí on January 29, 1967 .
