Jesús Hernández Blazquez (born September 28, 1981 in Parla ) is a Spanish cyclist .

Career

Jesús Hernández began his career in 2004 with the Spanish cycling team Liberty Seguros . At the Vuelta a España 2009 , he finished nineteenth overall. Although Hernández could not build on this placement in the following years, his respective teams often used him as an assistant on the "Grand Tours" . He supported Alberto Contador in his victories in the Tour de France 2010 and Giro d'Italia 2011 , which were later revoked because of doping, as well as in winning the Vuelta a España in 2012 and 2014 .
