Jessica Elenora Gerd Helleberg (born February 20, 1986 in Partille ) is a former Swedish handball player who was a member of the Swedish national team.
Career
Jessica Helleberg started playing handball at the Swedish club IK Sävehof . After the winger won the championship with the women's team for the fourth time in 2011, she moved to the Danish first division team Esbjerg . Two years later she signed a contract with league rivals HC Odense . Since February 2015 she has been on pause due to pregnancy. After Helleberg gave birth to her first child in 2015, she became pregnant again shortly afterwards.
Helleberg played 81 games for Sweden , in which she scored 128 goals. Helleberg took part in the 2010 European Championship , scored a total of three goals during the tournament and won the silver medal. A year later she finished ninth with Sweden at the 2011 World Cup in Brazil . In 2012 she was a member of the Swedish EM squad , which finished eighth. At the 2014 European Championships , she won the bronze medal with Sweden.
