Jette Waldinger-Thiering (born June 18, 1964 in Eckernförde ) is a German politician ( SSW ). She is a member of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament .

Life

First Waldinger-Thiering attended the Danish school in Eckernförde and in 1980 he graduated from the Hiort Lorenzen Skolen in Schleswig . In 1983 she completed her school career with the Abitur at Statsskole in Aabenraa , Denmark . Later she studied at the Pedagogical University in Haderslev , also in Denmark, for the teaching profession. After completing her studies, Waldinger-Thiering was a teacher at the Danish schools in Eckernförde, Süderbrarup and Dänischenhagen .

Waldinger-Thiering is divorced, Protestant, has two children and lives in Eckernförde.

Voluntary Policy

From 1996 to 2004 she was and has been chairwoman of the SSW district association Rendsburg-Eckernförde since 2006. From 2003 to 2011 Waldinger-Thiering was also chairwoman of the SSW local association in Eckernförde and has been an assessor on the SSW regional executive committee since 2009. From 2011 to 2013 she was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Elisabeth Eifert Foundation.

Electoral offices

In the local elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2003, she was elected councilor in Eckernförde, but left the council in 2004. In the local elections in 2008 she was re-elected to the council and has been chairwoman of the SSW parliamentary group ever since.

After the death of Silke Hinrichsen, she moved up on March 13, 2012 as a member of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament and became a member of the Petitions Committee. In the following state election on May 6, 2012 , she initially did not receive a mandate from the state list, but on June 12 she succeeded Anke Spoorendonk , who resigned her state parliament mandate after being appointed minister. Since then she has been a member of the Education, Europe and Petitions Committees.
