Yevgeny Wassiljewitsch Zaregorodzew ( Russian: Евгений Васильевич Царегородцев ; born February 3, 1983 in Khabarovsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper .

Career

Yevgeny Zaregorodzew first played for the second team of Lokomotive Yaroslavl and the club of his hometown, Samorodok Khabarovsk , in the third-rate Pervaya League . For the 2002/03 season he signed the THK Tver from the Wysschaja Liga . He stayed there until 2005 before moving to Chimik Woskressensk , where he stayed for a season. From 2006 to 2008 he played for the Russian first division club HK Sibir Novosibirsk . In 2008 he moved to league rivals HK Awangard Omsk . He was under contract with his next employer, Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg , between August 2010 and July 2011 and completed 19 assignments in the KHL during this period.

In July 2011 he was signed by WHL newcomer HK Donbass Donetsk .
